The Big Lebowski (1998)

There are movies that you have to re-watch every now and then not necessarily because you enjoy the story or the performances, but simply because of how they make you feel. For me, and countless of other people, one of those films is The Big Lebowski. It is hard to describe what it about watching a middle-aged slob slouch through a series of untenable situations completely nonplussed that makes the soul sore, but that is exactly what it does. The perfect film to deal with insomnia, a case of the blues, or a combination of the two.
